Linked Mask

Kill the deities that have been abandoned in the towers created by people! Linked Mask is an extremely challenging, Kaizo-like platformer that lets you become a god.

You are the Viewer, a reincarnated being sent by the gods to face the People’s Champ and take a place among them. Far from the city stand six towers, each home to an abandoned deity. Climb them, beat their guardians and collect the six masks you need to reach the champion.

It is a tribute to I Wanna Be The Guy and Kaizo ROM hacks, wrapped in the look and sound of a Game Boy game.

Features

Fast, precise movement

Slide to build up speed and land every jump. The platforms are designed for exact landings.

Six towers

Each tower has increasingly difficult levels and ends with a boss fight, leading to the final level: the People’s Castle.

Mask abilities

Every mask grants a movement ability that opens new routes in the towers you already cleared.

Deity boss fights

Each deity appears in a terrestrial form designed to test your reaction speed, backed by epic music.

Practice saves

Completed zones are saved so you can replay them and switch towers without having to defeat a god.

Optional upgrades

Find the five coins hidden in each tower’s Kaizo Zone to unlock an orb upgrade.

Retro-modern look

Early-90s handheld styling and a limited palette, with a modern presentation.

Atmospheric music

A soundtrack that sets the mood of every tower.
